The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment. I went on the Rural Development Exchange that was put on by Augustana University College and Canada World Youth. On this exchange I was given the opportunity to live and work in Mexico. I lived with a family in a rural village called San Andres de la Cal. I love my Mexican friends and now many of my other friends that I know from around the world. They are what inspries me.
